Learn -> Measure -> Unlearn -> Learn -> Measure…

A real agile cycle looks like this; at all levels!

Agile is about measuring your product interest, unlearning what creates churns and learning what makes your product interesting again.

  1. Measure 🧐:

#datadriven

- you may measure success, or failure …or anything that you may measure with a low cost.

- measure carefully and objectively! Now a days lots of successful studies talk about how to measure effectively: MRR, OKR, DORA metrics…there is a lot to experiment !

- If you don’t measure, you are just ‘guessing’ it wrong.

  1. Unlearn🤔:

#retrospectives
#KISS
#YAGNI

- based on measurements, you may spot practices, decisions and even processes that causes the unsatisfying numbers.

- If you can’t unlearn, you can’t call it a product, same practices leads to the same crap…it won’t react to the market. 🤔

- this is the meaning of “retrospective improvements”

  1. Learn 🤓:

#iterativeLearning

- Gather feedbacks, brainstorm with the team and learn your next step, your next slicing, your next strategic move, your next architecture modification, your next needed talent…
learn how to answer your next problems!

- If you can’t learn, software is simply not for you…
Best software teams learn new staffs daily.
